Kherson authorities confirmed two deaths and 14 injuries after drones damaged houses, schools, a hospital, cars, and a gas station.
Odesa Suffers Blackout After Drone Strikes
Local reports confirmed one person injured in Odesa, with Chornomorsk experiencing the heaviest destruction.
District Governor Oleg Kiper said the attack crippled energy infrastructure, leaving 29,000 residents without electricity.
He added that crews immediately began restoration work, powering critical facilities with generators.
Zelenskyy Reports Heavy Russian Losses in Pokrovsk
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned Russia’s third major assault this week, warning it proves global pressure remains essential.
He confirmed Russian forces suffered heavy losses in Pokrovsk, where Moscow continues concentrating its attacks.
Zelenskyy said Ukrainian units in Donetsk carry out assigned missions and systematically destroy Russian forces.
He added Russia has lost more than 290,000 soldiers killed or severely wounded in eight months of fighting.
